BOOKMARKS
As the Cafe is situated within the Media Centre of Aberdeen Central Library, we thought an ideal way to promote Racial Equality, Fairtrade and The Quiet Cup would be with bookmarks. Christa Reid, Police Secondee at GREC asked Aberdeen's Northfield Academy pupils (from year S1) if they could come-up with design ideas for one side of the bookmark (possibly even to be used as a poster) - not an easy task, but they did a fantastic job.

We were delighted with the response and the level of thought put into the request (we will display a selection of their artwork on this gallery web page very soon).

We have chosen a winner... David Stewart. "Congratulations!" - from everyone at The Quiet Cup and GREC on your bookmark design, we especially liked the GREC 'hair' - we will keep you posted when the bookmarks are to be printed.
